Zen are very proud to have just finished “The Lost Music of Auschwitz” – a moving tribute to the memory of the Holocaust created by Windfall Films.

It follows the journey of composer and conductor Leo Geyer who discovered and then painstakingly researched old musical manuscripts and documents to piece together some of the music composed and performed by the orchestras in Auschwitz.

His journey led to him meeting amazing people and also enabled him to finish pieces of work some of which had never been heard in their entirety before.

The key thing for Leo and Windfall Films was the authenticity of the music and to that end Zen was tasked with recording the unusual selection of instruments that were available at the time.  

Zen were also charged with the final 5.1 delivery for Sky Arts.
