Kev was delighted to travel to Singapore (using local Media Corp facilities) to record and mix the third Earthshot Prize Awards ceremony for Silverback Films. With the nature of the awards carbon footprint was high on the agenda so Kev could only take a couple of people and used local teams wherever possible.

 

Hosted at the Mediacorp theatre, Kev used the LAWO desk in their OB truck to record the awards show and musical performances as well as looking after screen content audio synchronised playback to media servers.

 

A busy week on site following a good few weeks of pre-production saw the show captured and then as the crew flew home Kev stayed to mix the post production side in the protools suites on site.

Kev said “UAD is a large part of my workflow so kindly the MediaCorp team loaded that and the excellent liquid sonics reverb for me and I was able to travel with necessary satellite boxes and iLoks to run my normal uk PT workflow”.

 

It was a tight turnaround with show delivered to BBC for TX the weekend following the show record the same week.  A great show with such a worthy message for us all.
